Our Mission and Values
At Catholic High School for Boys, our mission is rooted in the values of faith, integrity, and duty. We strive to help parents transform their sons into good husbands, good fathers, and good leaders in their communities. Our unique culture combines life lessons with academic lessons, preparing students for college and beyond. We believe that our students should not only excel academically but also develop essential life skills through extracurricular activities and a strong sense of brotherhood.
Academic Excellence
Our curriculum is designed to challenge students academically while teaching the truths of manhood. We offer a wide range of academic programs, including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. Our students have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, including the Dailey/Schueck Library and the Marine Corps Band. We also provide academic support through programs like Academic Counseling and Structured Study Hall.
Athletics and Extracurricular Activities
At Catholic High, we believe that athletics and extracurricular activities are essential for a well-rounded education. Our athletic teams compete in sports like Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Track and Field, and Wrestling. We also offer a variety of clubs and programs, including Broadcast Journalism, JROTC, and the Drama Club. These activities provide students with opportunities to develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
The Brotherhood Tradition
The Catholic High brotherhood is a unique and special kind of fraternity that forms among our students. This brotherhood is rooted in faith, laughter, competition, and common goals. Our students participate in all-school Masses, pep rallies, and various events that strengthen their bonds and sense of community. As one alumnus put it, "Growing up with an older brother that went to Catholic High, I knew I wanted to be a part of what he always referred to as 'The Brotherhood.'"
