Heather also specializes in Microneedling and tattoo removal to help you love your skin again!

Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent form of eyebrow tattooing that manually deposits pigment into the second layer of the skin (dermis). This technique allows for very fine hair-like strokes to be tattooed into the skin, creating a natural-looking brow. This procedure typically takes 2-4 hours, depending on the client's skin type, the procedure chosen, and the client's numbness level. The healing process varies from client to client, but most common reactions include tenderness, pink or redness around the affected area, swelling, thickening, and darkening of the area. Moderate to thick scabbing will begin 3-4 days after the procedure, and scabs will begin to flake off between days 5-10.

What to Expect

After a microblading procedure, you can expect:

  • Tenderness in the area
  • Pink or redness around the affected area
  • Swelling, thickening, and darkening of the area
  • Moderate to thick scabbing will begin 3-4 days after the procedure
  • Scabs will begin to flake off between days 5-10
  • After scabs flake off, pigment color and strokes will look light, grey, and blurry
  • After the area is fully healed (4-6 weeks after procedure), the pigment will return to full color

Who is NOT suited for Microblading?

Some medical conditions may require written permission from your doctor, such as:

  • Medically diagnosed conditions
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Recent chemotherapy
  • Recent Accutane use
  • Heart conditions or medication
  • Skin diseases or irritations
  • Skin conditions that affect the eyebrows
  • Recent Botox or chemical peels
  • Allergic reactions to certain medications
  • Certain medical conditions, requiring a physician's note

Microblading Techniques

We offer three types of Microblading techniques:

  • Traditional Microblading: This technique is not for all skin types and not good for cover-ups.
  • Ombre Brow: This technique is a "makeup look" that requires less touch-ups and is good for all skin types and cover-ups.
  • Combo Technique: This hybrid technique combines hair strokes and shading for fuller, denser brows.
