Our History

Before establishing Wakefield Auto, Truck, & Van in Raleigh, North Carolina, our founder, Chad Rypkema, successfully managed a similar business on Long Island, New York. After ten years of successful operation, Chad made the decision to relocate to the Raleigh area due to the oversaturated market in Long Island. In January 2007, Wakefield Auto, Truck, & Van opened its doors in the Triangle.
