For over 70 years, Health Partners of Southwest Iowa and Myrtue Medical Center have been committed to the health and wellness of the Harlan and Shelby County communities. Our healthcare system offers a wide range of services including five rural health clinics, behavioral health, community health, surgery and specialty clinics, a Critical Access Hospital that provides Level IV trauma care, physical and occupational therapy, diagnostic imaging, and more. Our goal is to provide high-quality, cost-effective services to improve the well-being of all people we serve.

Our Birthing Center team supports mothers, children, and families with the support, education, and assistance they need. Our Community Health department focuses on providing high-quality care for individuals in their homes or places of residence within our community and in our public health clinic settings. Our Behavioral Health team helps individuals handle life's challenges by re-establishing positive relationships, using new coping skills, processing through past and present difficulties, and developing a stronger sense of self. Our Primary Care team is dedicated to improving your well-being while delivering the quality of care you've come to expect. Our Rehabilitation team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists who treat a variety of ailments impacting physical, cognitive, and communication abilities. Our Surgery department includes a diversely experienced team of surgeons who can provide specialized care for various operations.
