Strait Gate Greenhouses is a family-owned and operated business established in 2014, rooted in over a decade of horticultural experience. Our journey began in 2002 with a produce farm in Wisconsin, where we discovered our passion for growing flowers, shrubs, and trees. After relocating to northwest Ohio, we expanded our operations to include 18 greenhouses, a nursery lot, and a diverse selection of plants cultivated on-site. Our team of 14 children and two dedicated parents works together to provide premium annuals, perennials, vegetables, and seasonal decor. What types of plants do you grow?
We grow annuals, perennials, mums, trees, shrubs, succulents, vegetables, and herbs. Our inventory includes over 60 tomato varieties and specialty peppers.
Do you offer landscaping services?
We don't provide landscaping services but maintain a directory of local professionals. Our staff can offer planting advice and design tips.
Are your plants grown locally?
Yes, we grow 90% of our inventory on-site in northwest Ohio across 18 greenhouses and nursery lots.
What are your operating hours?
We're open Monday-Saturday 9AM-6PM. The greenhouse is closed on Sundays except during special seasonal events.

Yes, we provide free planting guides, hardiness zone maps, and care instructions. Our staff offers personalized gardening advice.
