Bravo Swim

Bravo Swim was established in 2014 with the goal of providing high-quality, in-home private swim lessons to families in the greater Phoenix area. Our founder, Laura Bravo-Six, is an emergency room RN with over 20 years of experience teaching swim lessons to individuals of all ages. She has a particular passion for teaching survival swim lessons to babies. Laura and her team of experienced and dedicated instructors are committed to teaching life-saving skills in a safe and friendly environment.

Our Instructors

At Bravo Swim, we believe that the key to success is having the right team of instructors. That's why we take the time to carefully select and train each and every one of our instructors. They all have experience working with children and are CPR certified. We are proud to have a team of enthusiastic and dedicated instructors who are committed to providing the best possible service to our families.

Our Lessons

At Bravo Swim, we strive to get our students swimming independently as soon as possible. Every child learns at a different pace, but we have found that we can typically get our swimmers swimming in about 8 lessons. We offer a range of lesson options, including private, semi-private, and group lessons (up to 4 swimmers per class). Our lesson plans are customized to meet the specific needs and goals of each swimmer.

We specialize in private instruction, and our teaching style emphasizes survival-based learning. This means that we focus on teaching essential skills such as breathing, floating, and propulsion. Our instructors work closely with each swimmer to develop a strong foundation of swimming skills that will serve them well for years to come.

At Bravo Swim, safety is our top priority. All of our instructors are CPR certified, and we take great care to ensure that our lessons are conducted in a safe and controlled environment. We believe that swimming is an essential life skill, and we are committed to providing our students with the knowledge and skills they need to enjoy the water safely and confidently.

Getting Started

If you're interested in signing up for swim lessons with Bravo Swim, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Space is limited, and we prioritize families who register early.
