Our Story

At Silver Lark Jewelry and Crafts, we're proud to share our story, which is rooted in decades of passion, creativity, and dedication. Our journey began with Ginny Norris, a talented artist who has been working in the craft world since the late 1970s. With her rich experience in managing art supply and crafts stores, Ginny grew professionally as a Senior Seasonal Buyer for a major East Coast arts & crafts chain. Her travels to the Orient, in particular, have provided her with a treasure trove of unique semi-precious stones that adorn her jewelry today.

Ginny's Journey

Ginny's path to becoming a renowned jewelry artist unfolded around 2003, when she discovered the wonders of PMC - Precious Metal Clay. This innovative technique enabled her to design and craft fine jewelry with unlimited imagination, resulting in exquisite pieces made from 999 fine, pure silver. Her meticulous training, certification, and unwavering dedication led to the creation of Silver Lark Jewelry.

Steve's Story

The creative partnership between Ginny and Steve, a seasoned professional with 14 years of experience in the crafts industry, took shape in 2006. Steve's expertise in management, distribution, and warehousing allowed him to focus on the business side of things, freeing Ginny to focus on her craft. Steve also lends his skills to dichroic glass fusing and designs for Ginny's jewelry.

Ginny's Legacy

In 2018, Ginny Norris passed away after a courageous battle with Stage IV colon cancer. Her loss was felt deeply by her family and the countless fans who admired her work. Despite the pain of her passing, Steve's tribute to Ginny's remarkable spirit and dedication to her craft continue to inspire those who knew her.
