Erie County Employees Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to serving the financial needs of our members. We are committed to providing quality products, competitive rates, and exceptional service. Our office is located at 95 Franklin St. Room 111, Buffalo, NY 14202, and our office hours are from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Since our inception, we have been dedicated to serving the financial needs of our members. We take pride in our long history of providing quality financial services to our members. Our credit union was founded on the principles of financial cooperation, volunteerism, and social responsibility. These principles continue to guide us in meeting the needs of our members today.

Membership

Membership is open to employees of Erie County, AFSCME, NYSNA, and their families. Membership is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Once you become a member, you can remain a member for life, regardless of where you live or work. Our members enjoy access to a wide range of financial services, including savings accounts, loans, and mobile banking.

Holiday Schedule

We are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth National Independence Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Election Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. However, we are not closed on Election Day for AFSCME & NYSNA members.

What We Are

Erie County Employees Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative organized for the purpose of promoting savings and providing consumers with credit at favorable interest rates. Our members pool their assets, providing funds for loans to those in need within the group. As a cooperative, we are owned and controlled by our members. The members elect volunteer directors and supervisory personnel from among its membership to direct operations. We are democratic in nature with members possessing equal rights to vote -one member, one vote -without regard to the amount of savings, deposits, or volume of business.

• Loans: We offer a full range of loan services tailored to your needs using a credit-based lending program to help as many members as we can.
• ATM Locations: We have two ATM locations at 95 Franklin St. Buffalo, NY 14202 and 92 Franklin St. Buffalo, NY 14202.
• Mobile Banking: Our mobile banking services allow you to manage your finances on the go, including mobile check deposits and access to your accounts.
• Loan Specials: We offer competitive loan rates, including new auto loan rates as low as 4.99% and used auto loan rates as low as 5.75%.
