Our History

Founder Lowell F. Dickerson, motivated by the desire to impact communities, identified housing as an equalizing priority and began consulting and packaging multi-family developments. He established AKM Construction and LF Dickerson Contracting, focusing on underrepresented minorities in infrastructure and civil construction. Daughter Angie Dickerson-Dutch joined the business, modernizing operations and expanding the portfolio to include asphalt and concrete plant construction internationally. Today, niece Marsheia Smith continues the family legacy, taking CMK into the future with a commitment to revitalizing infrastructure and construction management ventures.
