At Chmielowiec Painting, Inc., we are more than just a company; we are a family with a rich history that dates back to 1923. Our journey began with Anthony Chmielowiec, who emigrated from Poland to the United States in 1910. Anthony started his painting business in 1923, and over the years, his sons, Raymond and Adolph (Jack), joined him after serving in World War II. In 1946, the sons took the business to new heights, and in 1948, they opened a paint and wallpaper store on Ellicott Street in Batavia. The business continued to grow, and in 1965, Jack started his own painting contracting business with his two sons, John (Jack. Sr.) and Robert. The company incorporated and was renamed to Chmielowiec Painting, Inc., focusing on commercial and industrial painting, including vinyl wall coverings, epoxy floors, and wall protection.

Our Legacy

As the fourth generation of the Chmielowiec family took over the business, Jack Chmielowiec, Jr., and Paul Chmielowiec continued the family legacy. In 2010, they took the reins from their fathers, Jack, Sr., and Robert, who had spent 45 years growing the business. In 2023, we are proud to celebrate 100 years of painting in Genesee County, a testament to our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Our family's dedication to quality and craftsmanship has made us a trusted name in the industry.
