Capitol Auction & Estate Services, LLC is a family-owned and operated business with a strong foundation in both the business and customer service industries. Founded by Terry and Patrice Mangum, the company conducts 20 to 30 auctions a year, the majority of which are Antique & Collectible auctions held at its spacious, modern auction facility. In addition to regular auctions, Capitol Auction & Estate Services also conducts on-site auctions, including farm and business liquidations, and offers full estate liquidation services.

Our professional auctioneer, Terry Mangum, is experienced in liquidating a wide variety of items, including farms, businesses, antiques, collectibles, coins, jewelry, and musical instruments.
• Live and Online Auctions: Our auctions are held both live and online, allowing us to reach enthusiastic bidders from the Salem area as well as buyers from all over the world. Our online bidding feature ensures that your items are exposed to the largest possible audience.
• Personal Property Appraisals: Our team of experts can provide accurate appraisals for your personal property, ensuring that you receive the best possible value for your items.
• Benefit Auctions: We are proud to offer benefit auction services to help raise funds for non-profit organizations.

Terry and Patrice Mangum have long-time family connections to the Willamette Valley and have been homeowners in Salem for the past 15 years. Terry is retired from nearly 30 years in the homebuilding and real estate development business. In recent years, he ran a major division of a Fortune 500 company and was responsible for managing more than $150 million in assets, employing up to 100 people. His division consistently ranked at the top of the company in customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Patrice has extensive experience in the customer service industry, having worked in retail management for over 20 years. She has a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and is committed to ensuring that our clients are completely satisfied with our services.
