Meadowbrook Golf Club is a family-owned and operated nine-hole golf course located in central New York, just off exit 40 of the New York State Thruway. Conveniently situated between Rochester and Syracuse, this hidden gem offers a challenging and enjoyable golfing experience for players of all skill levels.

A Rich History

Founded in 1968 by James and Dee Ball, Meadowbrook Golf Club was originally part of their family's dairy farm. The Balls operated the course until 1985, using their family house as the clubhouse. In 1985, Robert Beardsley and Marlin Hutton became the new owners, and in 1990, Marlin and his wife Suzanne took over, making many significant improvements to the property and the business. They added a full Toro watering system in 1988, upgraded to an automatic system in 2000, and installed new drainage systems. All original barns were torn down in 1991 and replaced with a new 40 by 80-foot pole barn for equipment storage. A new clubhouse was built in 1996 on the site of the old farmhouse. Many greens and tees were redone or newly built, enhancing the overall golfing experience.

In May 2008, PGA Golf Professional Trey Walewski and his wife Tina purchased Meadowbrook from the Huttons, continuing the tradition of family ownership. Trey, Tina, and their daughters Taylor and Sydney are excited to be a part of the community and look forward to welcoming you to Meadowbrook Golf Club.
