Our History

Teurlings Catholic High School has a rich history that dates back to 1955, when Monsignor Teurlings founded the school with a vision to provide a quality Catholic education to the youth of Lafayette, Louisiana. Over the years, our school has grown and evolved, but our commitment to our core values has remained unwavering. Today, we are proud to be one of the premier Catholic high schools in the region, with a reputation for academic excellence, athletic achievement, and community service.

Our Services

At Teurlings Catholic High School, we offer a wide range of services designed to support our students' academic, spiritual, and personal growth. Our academic programs include a comprehensive curriculum that covers subjects such as English, fine arts, foreign languages, mathematics, physical education, science, and social studies. We also offer advanced courses, including honors programs and advanced placement (AP) classes, as well as individualized support for students with special needs.

In addition to our academic programs, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports teams, clubs, and organizations that cater to different interests and talents. Our athletic programs include baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, indoor track, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. We also offer a range of clubs and organizations, such as campus ministry, music ministry, rebel roots, and speech and debate.

Our facilities include state-of-the-art classrooms, a library, a cafeteria, and athletic fields and facilities. We also offer a range of resources and support services, including guidance counseling, academic support, and college counseling.
