History & Mission

Founded in 1982, Moody Neuro, formerly known as the Transitional Learning Center, was established by a devoted father who saw firsthand the challenges his son faced after a traumatic auto accident. This became a lifelong passion to create an institution that would deliver high-quality brain injury rehabilitation services. Today, we continue to innovate and provide the best possible care for survivors of brain injury.

Our highly-trained staff use evidence-based therapies and cutting-edge technology to help patients regain lost skills, regain independence, and improve their overall quality of life.

• Neuropsychology & Counseling: We offer counseling services to help patients cope with the emotional and psychological challenges that often accompany brain injury.
• Speech & Language: Our speech therapists help patients who have difficulty communicating, whether due to language difficulties or physical limitations.
• Physical Therapy: Our physical therapists work with patients to improve their mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Occupational Therapy: Our occupational therapists help patients develop the skills they need to perform daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, and cooking.
• Community Integration: We provide training and support to help patients reintegrate into their communities and live independently.
• Aquatic Therapy: Our aquatic therapy program takes advantage of the buoyancy and resistance of water to provide a low-impact, gentle exercise option.
