Cardinal Swim & Tennis

Welcome to The Cardinal Swim and Tennis Club, Northwest Greensboro's premier private, member-owned and operated swim and racquet sports club. Our club is a full member-owned facility, effective fall of 2017, and we pride ourselves on being a community-oriented club where all members play a vital role in its growth and success. Membership is open to anyone, regardless of where you live, with affordable payment plans available.

Swim & Racquet Sports Facilities

Our club boasts beautiful swim and racquet sports facilities that are sure to provide you with hours of outdoor family fun all year round. Our swimming pool facilities feature a 25-meter length main pool with 3-5.5 ft. depths, a 10 foot diving well with 2 diving boards, a 2-3 ft. shallow entry area, and a separate fenced secondary "toddler" pool with a 1.5 ft. depth. The tennis facilities showcase 6 excellently maintained and well-lighted courts - 4 clay surface courts and 2 hard surface courts, which are also lined for 2 pickleball courts.

The pool cabana is home to THE CARDINAL GRILL, which offers a wide variety of food options, cold drinks, and ice cream. The cabana also has a comfortable seating area, perfect for relaxing and socializing with other members.

Swim Team and Swim Lessons

Our club is home to the Cardinal Swim Team, a competitive swim team that participates in local swim meets. We offer swim team sign-ups, a coach-in-training program, a volunteer coach program, and swim meet 101 for those new to competitive swimming. Additionally, we offer private swim lessons for all ages and skill levels, as well as adult lap swim.

Racquet Sports Programs

Our tennis facilities offer a variety of programs for all ages and skill levels. We have junior tennis programs for the winter and spring seasons, tennis tips, guidelines, and rules, court reservations, and a tennis ball machine for practice. We also offer a tennis 360 program and staff pay for those interested in a career in tennis. Additionally, we have pickleball courts and offer pickleball programs.

Events and Club Membership

Our club offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Love All Charity Tennis Event, Memorial Day Celebration, and more. Our events are open to all members and guests. Membership is open to anyone, subject to availability, and we offer a swim waitlist for those interested in joining.
