For over 25 years, The Diner has been a beloved institution in Norman, Oklahoma, serving up delicious breakfasts, lunches, and more in our cozy and nostalgic setting. Our story began with Bonnie Amspacher, owner and fourth-generation chef, who followed in the footsteps of her ancestors in the culinary world.
Our Story
Bonnie's great-grandfather, a pioneer in the food industry, moved to Norman during the Great Depression and opened the Southside Grocery, a beloved landmark that still holds a special place in the hearts of many Normanites. In 1989, Bonnie's father, Mark, opened The Diner, proudly carrying on the family tradition of serving up exceptional cuisine. Our menu features a variety of classic American dishes with a Tex-Mex twist, made with love and care by our experienced chefs.
