J.T. Russell & Sons is a family owned highway construction company that has been serving the Carolinas since 1939. We offer a variety of asphalt products and services, including construction, recycling, trucking, and more. Our mission is to provide our customers with quality asphalt products and services at a competitive price. We train our employees with up-to-date technology to make and distribute the finest asphalt products on the market.

Our History

In 1939, our business was established, and over the years, we have grown and expanded our services. In 1954, we received our contractor's license, and in 1966, we were incorporated. Our first asphalt plant was built in New London, NC in 1987, and we have since expanded to additional plants in Conover, Charlotte, New London, Salisbury, and Lexington, NC. We have also established a recycling center and have been involved in several major projects, including highway widening and construction for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT).

Services

Our services include construction, recycling, trucking, and more. In construction, we provide grading, paving, and milling services, including the installation of hundreds of miles of quality asphalt per year. We also offer utilities services, including sewer line, water line, and pump stations. Our experienced team and modern equipment enable us to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
