Our Story

Since our inception in 1979, Fuqua Construction, Inc. has been dedicated to building and construction, starting in the residential market. Our first church construction project in Oxford, Kansas in 1984, marked a turning point for our company, igniting a passion to work with churches and making it a key focus of our business. In 1984, Fuqua & Doerksen Construction, Inc. was formed with business partner, Terry Doerksen. Terry had a long history in the construction industry and brought valuable experience and knowledge to the company.

Since then, we have completed numerous projects, including the Valley Hope Treatment Center in Moundridge, McPherson First Christian Church in McPherson, and CrossPoint Church in Hutchinson. Our commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction has earned us the trust of our clients and the recognition of industry professionals.
