Founded by a dedicated husband-and-wife team, our journey began with a shared dream of celebrating the unique character of Michigan through the art of winemaking.

Our mission is to cultivate small-batch Michigan wine and cider that celebrates the essence of this land. We are driven by a deep appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our local terroir, utilizing sustainable practices to nurture the soil and ensure the highest quality fruit.

The Journey Begins

Our story is one of exploration and discovery. It starts with a simple dream, a yearning to capture the essence of Michigan in every bottle. Initial attempts were met with initial challenges - a wine kit left untouched for months due to fear and uncertainty. But with each step, we learned, adapted, and grew.

Vineyard and Production

With a vision in mind, we set out to establish our vineyards. After careful research and planning, we planted our first grapes in the quaint village of Freesoil, followed by another in Fennville. Today, we proudly cultivate our meticulously cared-for vineyards, producing premium grapes that grace our award-winning wines.

Crafting Delicious Bottles

Winemaking for us is a delightful dance of science and artistry. We meticulously blend and ferment each batch, experimenting with different techniques to extract the unique flavors and aromas of each grape and apple variety. This meticulous attention to detail is evident in the consistently complex and captivating expressions of our wines and ciders.
