MASWEN, PC is a certified public accounting (CPA) firm located in Auburn, Alabama. Our firm is owned and operated by Mark and Wendy Smith, who have been practicing public accounting together since January 2003. We are a paperless office, utilizing available technology such as client portals, scanning, and printing processes to work with clients from anywhere that has cell phone reception and an internet connection.

Mark Smith, a 1994 graduate of The University of Alabama's Culverhouse School of Accountancy, has been practicing public accounting since 1995. He has also worked in corporate bank accounting and the financial services industry, and holds a Master's of Divinity Degree (MDiv) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In his spare time, Mark enjoys Bible study, working on the land, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Wendy Smith, a 1994 graduate of Auburn University's School of Business, has also been practicing public accounting since 1995. She has taken a brief break from public accounting for manufacturing accounting. Wendy loves to read and spend time with family and friends.

We are proud members of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and Embrace Church Auburn. We have two daughters, Laney and Avery, and enjoy attending Auburn Football games and being Auburn Band parents.
