Myra

Myra & Company Salon first opened its doors in a small cottage in 1979, equipped with shag carpeting, a wicker couch, and manned by two passionate individuals - Myra and one other employee. With hard work, dedication, and a bit of Irish luck, the salon quickly gained a reputation for its cozy atmosphere, exceptional talent, and professional service.

In the early 1990s, after visiting a spa in California, Myra envisioned creating a space that offered relaxation and rejuvenation, promoting happiness and stress-free living. In 1996, Myra's daughter Erica helped her launch South Miami's Premier Day Spa, expanding the salon by 2000 square feet. This addition allowed for an incredible, caring staff, a loyal guest base, and solutions to unforeseen obstacles in life and business.

In 1999, Myra & Company celebrated its twentieth anniversary by introducing a 3000-square-foot foot spa, a movement studio, a cafe, and a gift boutique, while incorporating alternative medicine into the spa menu. Although the original "love shack" was knocked down, everyone quickly adjusted to the newly expanded facility. Over the years, Myra and Company grew into South Miami's one-stop beauty shop.

In 2021, after COVID-19, Myra and Company downsized to a nearby 1200-square-foot space, maintaining its warm and professional environment while enhancing its service menu and increasing parking.

Our Services

Myra & Company Salon offers a wide range of services in hair art, body skin, nails, and alternative makeup.

*Hair Art Studio*

Our Hair Department provides various services, including developmental designer appointments with Jorge and Tara, and master stylist Carmen, as well as stylist Ging. We also offer hair design, haircuts, blow-drys, and updos for special occasions. Experience our extensions, tape-in extensions, and color services, such as root touch-ups, surplus of color, root smudge, and balayage.

*Body Skin*

We offer skin services provided by Ruth, Amparo, Ava, Ana, and Edith. Our menu includes various treatments, such as scalp and hair repair, molecular mender, hydration, or volume, and fibreX clinix for restoring inner and outer hair structure. We also provide keratin treatments, tansioplastia, and scalp massages for a refreshing experience.

*Nails*

Our nail department features Jess, Ava, Ana, Edith, and Liliu, who provide manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Our foot heaven pedi menu offers an array of treatments for your feet's ultimate care.

*Alternative Makeup*

Experience our alternative makeup connect salon spa studio cafe, where we cater to your beauty needs head-to-toe.
