Happy Valley Preschool & Child Care Center

Happy Valley Preschool is nestled in the heart of Happy Valley in Southeast Portland, offering a unique blend of country atmosphere and urban convenience. Our two-building facility is designed and decorated with the children in mind, accommodating children from 2 months to 5+ years of age. We are committed to providing quality preschool and child care services, focusing on educational excellence and encouraging each child's individual talents and gifts.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is centered around engaging a child's natural curiosity through play, fostering social and emotional growth, establishing close relationships between children and adults, and building on each child's unique interests and skills. We strive to develop a creative curriculum that encourages children to explore and discover the world around them.

Services Offered

We offer a range of services including all-day, full, and part-time preschool options, available two to five days a week. Our experienced and caring teachers provide a safe and stimulating environment for learning, with activities tailored to meet the needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We also offer sibling rates and immunization services.

Daily Activities

Infants and toddlers enjoy a routine that includes creative play and activity time, morning and afternoon snack, lunch, nap, and large muscle time both indoors and out. Preschoolers engage in music, story-time, and arts and crafts, as well as more structured learning activities. Our goal is to provide a balance of free play and structured learning to meet the diverse needs of our children.
