Our Beginnings

Deep Branch Family Campground rests upon a serene piece of land flanking the tranquil waters of Deep Branch, a shallow stream that meanders through the heart of southern Delaware. Founded by Pastor Bill Sammons nearly three decades ago, the campground began as Eagle's Nest Family Campground, offering a peaceful escape for families and nature lovers. Witnessing the campground's positive impact on visitors, Pastor Bill expanded its reach, nurturing it into the welcoming and inclusive sanctuary it is today.
