At Jacob's Ladder, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive therapy and supplemental care for children in need. Our mission is to partner with families, communities, and health care providers to help children reach their full potential. We believe that every child deserves access to excellent therapy care, and we strive to make this a reality for children and their families in Northwest Indiana.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support children from birth to 18 years. Our First Steps program provides physical, occupational, speech, and developmental therapy in the comfort of the child's home for children ages 0-3. For children from 0 to 18 years, we offer outpatient therapy services including Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy. Additionally, our JL Academy is a social group for kids with sensory issues or behavioral concerns, designed to prepare them for kindergarten and foster their academic and social growth.

Meet Our Team

Our administrative team is comprised of compassionate professionals who work tirelessly to make a positive impact on children's lives. Our Executive Director, Mariann Frigo, founded Jacob's Ladder in 1998 after her own son's needs inspired her to provide therapy services to the children of Northwest Indiana. Our Chief Operating Officer, Kristin Zakutansky, and Director of Administrative Operations, Tracy Hall, are just a few of the dedicated individuals who bring diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to our mission.

Our Vision

We envision a community where every child receives comprehensive, affordable services in order to grow into the best version of themselves. This will be accomplished by further educating our community on the benefits of early childhood intervention and encouraging those who share similar values to join us in achieving this vision. Our guiding principles emphasize the importance of supporting families with special needs children, providing excellent therapy care, and equipping families with the competence and capability to create the best future possible for their child.
