Company History

Private Theaters was founded in March 1997 by Troy D. Janda, a former recording engineer. Initially, the company focused on providing professional video calibration services to home theater retailers, custom A/V dealers, and private clients in the Jacksonville, Florida metropolitan area. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include acoustical analysis/correction, sales consultation, system design, project management, and automation programming.
