Our Firm's History

Douglas C. Lehman Professional Corporation began in January 2003 when Doug decided to open up his own practice after having practiced in Wabash with John Johnston since 1979. The firm initially operated out of a remodeled building on Canal Street in downtown Wabash, which was once the P.K. Department Store. Over the years, the firm has undergone significant improvements, including a move to a new location at 30 West Canal Street in 2005. Today, our office boasts a comfortable waiting area, large reception and office staff work area, and a range of amenities designed to provide our clients with a welcoming environment.

Meet Our Staff

Our team is led by Douglas C. Lehman, a seasoned attorney with a rich background in law. Doug graduated from Wabash College, summa cum laude, and later from Indiana University School of Law, cum laude. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar and the federal district court bars for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana in 1975. With a strong track record in municipal law, collection work, wills, estates, estate planning, elder law, social security, and family law, Doug is well-equipped to provide expert guidance to our clients.
