H&D Cycles is a small, family-run business that prides itself on delivering exceptional service to its customers. Unlike other dealers who focus on new sales, H&D Cycles thrives on long-lasting relationships with its repeat customers. We value every customer who walks through our doors and strive to provide them with the best possible service.
Our business began as an authorized Harley Davidson EXTENDED WARRANTY center, but we quickly expanded to offer a wider range of services. Today, we are proud to sell nationwide extended warranty service plans, providing better coverage and lower prices for new and used motorcycles.
We invite you to visit our shop and take a tour. We guarantee you'll be glad you did. Please note that we will be closed from November 22-26, 2018, for Thanksgiving break and on May 25, 2019, for Memorial Weekend.
Our Services
At H&D Cycles, we offer a wide range of services to keep your motorcycle running smoothly. Our services include:
- Dyno Tuning: Our state-of-the-art DynoJet and WinPEP 7 Technology allow us to create custom maps for your engine configuration. We adjust and synchronize the Volumetric Efficiency (VE) tables, eliminating decel popping, detonation, acceleration issues, and optimizing Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) and timing tables for optimum performance. Our meticulous mapping process ensures that your bike will run cooler and smoother with more power throughout the complete RPM range.
- Engine Building: Our engine building services are designed to meet the unique needs of each Harley-Davidson engine. We use only the highest quality parts and components to build engines that are reliable and powerful. Our technicians are trained to the "next level" to provide you with the best possible service.
- Dyno Runs: We offer Dyno Runs to help you test and optimize your motorcycle's performance. Our Dyno is a great tuning tool that can help you identify issues and make adjustments to improve your bike's performance.
- Pictures and Specials: We regularly update our website with pictures of our work and specials on our services. Check back often to see what we have to offer.
Things to Know Before Having Your Bike Tuned
Before bringing your bike in for tuning, there are a few things you should keep in mind:
- Come with a full tank of the gas you usually run. In our area, we recommend 93 octane ethanol due to its octane rating and availability. No Additives please.
- Tuning should not be used to cover up mechanical or electrical or fuel issues.
- The bike should be in proper maintenance. If it has not been recently serviced, we can do that before we tune.
- Tires should be in good shape.
- Stock plugs and wires (for proper spark knock detonation/ ion sensing)
- On larger motors, you should have the proper clutch and driveline components for the application.
