Our History
We have been serving the Roaring Fork Valley for over 27 years, making us the longest running yoga studio in Carbondale. Our commitment to excellence and our passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals has allowed us to build a strong and supportive community.
Our Services
At White Horse Yoga, we offer a variety of services to cater to your needs. Our classes include four styles of fun, alignment-based hot yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Brain Flow Stretch, Partner Yoga, and Inversion workshops. Our classes focus on strengthening and mobilizing the spine with side bends, backward bends, and lots of core! They work from the ground up and are designed for all levels.
In addition to our group classes, we also offer one-on-one and group private yoga and fitness lessons to help you achieve all of your health and fitness goals. We also provide deep-tissue bodywork, cranial-sacral, and Thai Massage right here at the studio. Schedule your appointment with Bel today.
Class Descriptions
- Vimana Yoga: This is a therapeutic, fitness-based, Hatha Flow yoga class designed for all levels. It introduces basic flow as well as strengthening and stabilizing exercises. The room is heated between 95 and 100 degrees.
- White Horse Flow: This is a fun, alignment-based flow class with groovy music. This class is designed for active mountain people and athletes to cultivate an unsurpassed physical, mental, and spiritual experience. Each week we will focus on a different theme, so you will feel strong, supple, balanced, enlivened, and nurtured, as your practice grows and expands. (All Levels) The room is heated between 85 and 100 degrees.
- Hot Stretch: This is a restorative practice that includes gentle flow, long holds, Yin yoga, pranayama, and meditation. This practice cultivates steadiness and deep calm that allows you to release stress, and deep held patterning by resetting your parasympathetic nervous system. We focus on stabilizing and stretching spine, hips, shoulders, and neck. (Level 1-2) The room is heated between 95 and 100 degrees.
- Yoga Sculpt & HIIT: This is a fun and challenging, high-paced yoga fitness class. We have taken the best from White Horse Flow and added (HIIT) High Intensity Interval Training and light weight training! We recommend that you attend at least a few vinyasa classes with Bel before attending this class.
- Partner Acro Yoga: This is an interactive, healing art that incorporates partner stretching, "flying" and beginning acrobatics. It inspires trust, community, and playfulness. Learn to listen, feel, and connect with your body and others in a new way. Non-heated.
