At Healthy Kids, we're not just another childcare provider. We're a certified benefit corporation on a mission to reinvent accessible and affordable childcare for today's families. Founded in 2007, our organization has grown from one location in New Windsor, NY to over 150 locations in 10 states, and we're still growing.

Our History

Our journey began when the New Windsor Y split into two types of organizations. The New Windsor Y retained its free grant-funded programming and spun off its fee-for-service programs - the fitness building and childcare programs - into separate, independent companies with two different brand names: the Healthy Kids Program and the Union Avenue Community Fitness Center. Since then, we've been singularly focused on extended-day, summer camp, and early learning programs, providing affordable and accessible childcare to families.

Through innovative programs and collaborative partnerships, we aim to build a place where every child thrives, families flourish, our dedicated staff find inspiration, and the wider community experiences lasting benefits. At Healthy Kids, we believe that our program should be your child's home away from home. Our program features a warm, nurturing environment with an emphasis on safety, having fun, amazing staff, and engaging activities.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs catering to different ages and needs. Our programs include:

• Early Learning: Focusing on Early Childhood Learning and Kindergarten Readiness for Toddlers & Preschoolers
• Universal Pre-K: Providing Pre-K, Wrap Around, and Before & After School Programs following a Pre-K curriculum
• Before & After School: Extended day programs to fit your schedule and offer support, new skills, and socialization to children in urban, rural, and suburban areas
• Summer Camp: An unforgettable summer of exploration, adventure, and fun with weekly themes and convenient locations
