The Lake Havasu Black Belt Academy is proud to have a dedicated and experienced team of instructors, led by Karen Fresh. Karen, a native of Madison, Wisconsin, has been involved in Taekwondo since 1995. She began her journey at Spradlin's Taekwondo, where she was joined by her sons, daughters, and eventually her husband. Karen's passion for Taekwondo led her to become an instructor in 1999, and she has since recertified her instructor status multiple times.

In addition to teaching at Mr. Spradlin's school, Karen has also taught Taekwondo and art for the Chemhuevi Tribe at Havasu Landing and with the Leisure Studies Department. Her commitment to the personal development of each student is evident in her teaching style, which emphasizes individual attention and the importance of strong character, leadership, and good values.

At the Lake Havasu Black Belt Academy, we offer what we believe is the best martial art in the world: Taekwondo.
