Our History

Carlisle Associates Inc. was founded in 1977 by William A. Carlisle and partners from his previous firm, Lyles, Bissett, Carlisle, & Wolff (LBC&W). LBC&W was founded in 1948 and was nationally known for its cutting-edge designs and impressive client list. Our firm completed 7,000 projects in its 30-year span and is credited with transforming the southeast into a modernist landscape.
