From humble beginnings, we've grown to become the Best of the Best in Knox County for Home Design and Kitchen, thanks to the support of our community. Our story began with Carl Wood, who founded the company as a kitchen and bath design business in Rockland, Maine. In 1979, we expanded to our current location on Commercial Street, where we've continued to serve the local and surrounding communities. Today, under the leadership of Katrina Thompson, Carl's daughter, we remain committed to exceptional personal service and unique downeast solutions and creativity.

Meet Our Team

Katrina Thompson, our owner and designer, has been involved in the business for over 24 years. She is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and the Maine Women's Network. With a passion for building strong relationships, Katrina loves making her clients' dreams a reality, often working with multiple generations of families on their home renovations. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling, supporting her community, and spending time with friends.
