Lease Haulers

We understand the crucial role that lease haulers play in our operations, and we value their contributions. We offer weekly payments to our lease haulers and require them to provide specific information for our payables paperwork. Our insurance requirements include General Liability, Auto Liability, and Workers Compensation, and we ensure that all lease haulers are registered and approved subcontractors with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

We also emphasize the importance of performing a "commercially useful function" as defined in 49 CFR§26.55. This means that our lease haulers must be responsible for and actually perform, manage, and supervise the work covered by their subcontract, and they must not sub-contract a significantly greater portion of the work than would be expected on the basis of normal industry practices.
