Our story began with the vision of Bill Wagner, who sought to create a place where people could enjoy good food, fine wine, and beautiful scenery. His dream was realized when he founded Wagner Vineyards, and it was his granddaughter, Virginia "Ginny" Lee, who would carry on his legacy by managing the cafe that would bear her name. Ginny has been part of the cafe since her middle school days and is proud to be the one to continue her grandfather's dream.

Our Executive Chef, Vachel Mitchell, also known as "Chef Mitch, " is a native of New York's Southern Tier region. With a degree from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y., he has extensive experience in both intimate cafe dining and corporate food service. Chef Mitch is inspired by French and American cuisines, which he skillfully infuses with local ingredients and styles. His delectable dishes are a testament to his culinary prowess and dedication to using only the freshest ingredients available.
