Earhart Station LLC is a family-owned-and-operated facility located in beautiful Bristol, Tennessee. Our story began in 1775 when Rev. Joseph Rhea, an Irish immigrant, purchased a 2,000-acre property that would eventually become the home of Bristol Motor Speedway and Earhart Campground. Over the years, our family has worked tirelessly to improve our facilities to make sure our guests have an unforgettable experience.
A Brief History
The property has been in continuous family ownership since its original purchase. The farm has grown smaller over the years as it was split among the generations of family members who occupied the land. The area has seen many significant events and changes. The original log home, built in 1800, burned down in 1949. The present home, built in 1806, is still standing and is the childhood home of Charles and Robert Earhart.
Campground Facilities
We offer a range of services to make your stay with us comfortable and enjoyable. Our campground has over 1,000 campsites, including full-hookup sites, primitive sites, and tent-only areas. We also provide shower houses, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Our campers' lounge is equipped with TVs, refrigerators, and microwaves.
