Broadening Horizons with Golf

Empowering rural youth through the transformative power of golf.

The Rural Youth Golf Association (RYGA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged youth in rural communities with the opportunity to learn and play golf. We believe in the power of this sport to instill valuable life skills, promote physical development, and foster a sense of belonging among young people.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:

  • Provide underprivileged youth in rural communities with access to quality golf instruction and equipment.
  • Promote the game of golf among youth as a way to develop physical and mental skills.
  • Cultivate a love for the game and foster a sense of belonging in youth.

Our Approach

We believe that access to organized sports is crucial for the development of healthy, well-rounded individuals. We partner with local golf clubs and organizations to provide:

  • Free golf clinics and camps: Led by experienced professionals, these programs teach the basics of golf to beginners and refine the skills of young golfers.
  • Free use of golf equipment: We provide clubs, balls, and other essential gear to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation.
  • Discounted memberships at local clubs: We partner with golf clubs to offer affordable memberships for young golfers.

How You Can Help

Your support is crucial in helping us achieve our mission. Here's how you can make a difference:

  • Financial contributions: Donations of any amount are welcome and will directly support our programs and initiatives.
  • Volunteer your time: Join us at our clinics, camps, or other events.
  • Donate golf equipment: New or gently used equipment is always in high demand.
  • Spread the word: Tell your friends and community members about RYGA and encourage their involvement.
Join us in broadening the horizons of young lives through the game of golf.
