Family - Integrity - Strength

Le Jeune Upholstery is a family business that has been perfecting upholstered furniture for over 50 years. Founded by Osmundo and Consuelo Alvarez in 1971, the company started as a reupholstery workroom for fine antiques. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the largest and finest workrooms for custom furniture, offering a range of services including design, restoration, and reupholstery. The company's story is deeply rooted in family values, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.

Our Story

The Alvarez family has been at the helm of Le Jeune Upholstery since its inception. Their children, Gerry, Fernando, and Alex, grew up in the business, learning the art of reupholstery and furniture design from a young age. Today, each sibling is responsible for different aspects of the business, ensuring a balanced approach to operations, sales, and marketing. This family dynamic has been instrumental in the company's success and has allowed it to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

State-of-the-Art Craftsmanship

At Le Jeune Upholstery, every piece of furniture is crafted with attention to detail and a deep understanding of the client's vision. The process begins with a detailed comprehension of "the story" you want to tell, which is then translated into an elaborate product description and specifications. A special "fitting" is included before construction, and a final sampling in muslin is provided before the furniture is finished. This commitment to innovation and collaboration ensures that every piece of furniture is a reflection of the client's unique story.

Connie's Corner

Connie, the mother and co-founder of the business, was an Oval-Lactovegetarian woman who lived a holistic lifestyle. She believed that keeping one's body and mind healthy was essential for success. She created Connie's Corner, an in-house kitchen that served fresh, organic, Ovo-Lacto cuisine to the family, employees, and clients. This tradition continues today, and Connie's Corner remains an integral part of the company's culture and success.

Lucas Alvarez Foundation

In memory of Lucas Alvarez, the LA6 Foundation was established to provide academic scholarships and funding for individuals to pursue their dreams at vocational/technical schools. The foundation believes that everyone has a God-given talent and aims to give individuals the opportunity to explore and capitalize on those talents.
