Bassett Trucking, LLC emerged from a deep-rooted passion for transportation, tracing its origins back to 1962 with the vision of Dennis L. Bassett. A true pioneer in the trucking industry, Denny's entrepreneurial spirit led him to secure his first regulated commodities authority, Wisconsin L.C. # 43056, in 1964. This marked the beginning of Bassett Trucking's journey, starting with a diverse range of hauls, including apples, lumber, livestock, Christmas trees, hay, straw, and LTL freight. Recognizing the growing need for specialized transportation, Denny and his company honed their expertise in over-dimensional freight, establishing themselves as a trusted partner for businesses needing unique and efficient shipping solutions.

As the second generation stepped in, in 1978, Bassett Trucking was poised for expansion. Michael Bassett, Denny's son, joined the family business, immersing himself in all facets of the operation. Beginning as a driver, Michael gained invaluable hands-on experience before transitioning to dispatcher roles and eventually becoming Bassett's Hay/Straw Salesman. Driven by a shared commitment to excellence, Michael's leadership propelled the company forward, culminating in his role as the current President of both Bassett Trucking, LLC and Bassett Transportation Services, Inc.

Building upon a legacy of dedication and expertise, Bassett Trucking, LLC seized a pivotal milestone in 1994 by acquiring their ICC Authority. This strategic move signified a commitment to expanding their reach and providing top-tier service to a wider clientele. Over the subsequent years, the company's business flourished, expanding operations across all 48 states and into the Canadian provinces.
