Our Story

Crop & Range Insurance was founded in 1986 with a vision to be the go-to insurance agency for agricultural producers. Our story began with Jacob Little, who was raised on a row crop and cow-calf operation in the Gulf Coast town of Garwood, Texas. Jacob's passion for agriculture led him to Texas A&M University, where he earned a degree in Animal Science, a Master's in Agriculture, and a Certificate in Business. Jacob's expertise in direct sales and his experience in running a small feedlot laid the foundation for Crop & Range Insurance.

Our Team

Over the years, our team has grown to include a diverse group of professionals who share Jacob's passion for agriculture. Our team includes Teresa Baird, who has extensive experience in the Farm Service Agency, Kasey Sykora, who has a background in medical administration, Rebecca Balderas, who brings her expertise in retail management and customer service, Justin Kaska, who has a farming background and experience as a credit analyst, Caitlin Cole, who has worked in customer service and marketing, and Hannah Albritton, who has a Master's degree in Agriculture and experience in animal science.
