Welcome to the Golf Club of South Georgia, your affordable and convenient golf destination located just 10 miles north of Tifton, Georgia, and a mere 2 miles from Interstate 75. Nestled amidst a stunning pecan orchard, our course boasts gently rolling hills and picturesque views of Mar-Jan Lake, making for an unforgettable golfing experience.

Designed by Don MacMillan with special consulting work from E. Ray Jensen, our par 72 public course was opened for play in 1992 and offers five sets of tees for golfers of all skill levels. With yardages ranging from 4,702 to 6,889 yards, Mar-Jan Lake comes into play on four holes, and three ponds come into play on another four holes, culminating in our signature par 3 island green. Our course is not only visually stunning but also mentally and physically challenging, with 87 beautifully edged bunkers that test even the most seasoned golfers.

If you're looking to hone your skills, our facility offers a fully equipped staff and a range of practice areas, including a 50-station grass tee range and two practice greens. Our spacious and inviting clubhouse, designed by award-winning Marsh and Associates Architects, is the perfect place to relax and socialize with family, friends, or colleagues. We offer a variety of affordable membership options, as well as overnight hotel packages and the ability to accommodate events, including weddings, reunions, and banquets.

For those interested in staying a little longer, we have a subdivision with lots available for sale, beginning in 2013. Our new clubhouse, also designed by Marsh and Associates, will be open in the fall of the same year and is equipped to host a variety of events, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.
