Our History

K&B Lumber was founded in 1993 by Martin Kuhns and Robert Bartman, both of whom had extensive experience in the lumber industry dating back to 1975. Since its inception, K&B Lumber has proudly employed modern logging and milling techniques, earning us a reputation for excellence in our industry.

We purchase standing timber and transform it into high-quality lumber for the furniture industry, as well as railroad timber and ties. Our lumber mill produces over 6 million board feet per year, making us one of the leading lumber producers in the region.
