Living in Faith. Growing in Character. Loving Each Other.
At St. Patrick School, we offer a unique and engaging learning environment that emphasizes the holistic development of each student. With a strong focus on STREAM education, our curriculum integrates Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to provide an exciting and hands-on education that prepares students for success in the modern world.
We are proud to be the only STREAM school partnering with Illinois State University in Macon County. Our Junior High students benefit from a dedicated building, Shamrock Hall, which helps them transition smoothly from elementary to high school. From Preschool to 8th grade, our students receive a well-rounded education that covers all core curriculum classes, as well as Spanish, art, religion, and technology.
Our Preschool program is designed to introduce children to the world of learning in a fun and engaging way. We offer both 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool classes, taught by certified early education teachers with many years of experience. Our 4-year-old preschool class attended school five days per week with the option to attend only in the mornings or all day, while our 3-year-old preschool class has the option to attend five mornings a week or all day.
At St. Patrick School, we believe that learning should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. That's why we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports teams and music programs. From soccer to track and band to choir, there's something for everyone. Our school also has a strong focus on family and religion, and we incorporate these fundamentals into our daily lives.
Our school has a low teacher-to-student ratio, which enables each student to receive the right amount and kind of attention needed. Our teachers genuinely care about each student, know their individual strengths and weaknesses, and understand how to properly motivate and support each child to reach their full potential. We welcome families of all faiths, and the church staff has been very supportive of our diverse community.
