Welcome to Tabor Commons Assisted Living, a community dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, and home-like senior care. Our mission is to care for our residents with the utmost respect and dignity, treating them as a part of our own family. We are located in the charming town of Tabor City, NC, known as the "Yam Capital of the World, " and take pride in our coastal vibe while being tucked away nicely in-shore to miss the brunt of coastal winds and storms. With 80 beds, we are a cozy and welcoming community, and we strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all of our residents.

Tabor Commons is located less than an hour from both Wilmington, NC and North Myrtle Beach, SC, and is only a 5-minute drive from Loris, SC. We are also fortunate to have two hospitals within 25 miles of our community, ensuring that our residents have access to top-notch medical care when they need it. Our convenient location, coupled with our commitment to providing exceptional care, makes Tabor Commons the ideal choice for seniors in need of assisted living.

Services

At Tabor Commons, we understand that each of our residents has unique needs and preferences, which is why we offer a range of services tailored to meet those individual requirements. Our services include:

*Assisted Living*

Our assisted living (AL) communities are licensed by the state and provide high-quality care to residents requiring assistance with their activities of daily living (ADLs). Our dedicated staff members help to provide the following services to our residents:

• Bathing Assistance
• Incontinence Care
• Transfers and Ambulation Assistance
• Medication Assistance
• Meal Service
• Transportation Services
• Activities Programs
• Medical Appointment Coordination

Our services can be all-inclusive or a la carte depending on a resident's unique needs. In our communities, we encourage independence and foster rehabilitation efforts for folks working to regain independence. We work closely with your preferred home health agency for skilled nursing and therapy services. If a resident desires to remain in our home, as they near the end of their journey, we can also work with Hospice agencies to provide care in our community.

*Respite Care*

If you are a caregiver in need of a break, Tabor Commons provides respite services for your loved one. Our respite stays are available for stays of 30 days or less and require advanced notice to the community. Respite beds are limited to availability and rates vary based on length of stay and services required by the resident.
