At Idrive Driving School, our mission is to provide the highest quality, responsible, and safe drivers in a friendly, honest, ethical, and professional manner. We are proud to offer a California State approved Online Drivers Education course for all students in the State of California. Our courses are licensed by the state of California and the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), license # E4304.

Online Drivers Ed Program

Our Online Drivers Education course is a comprehensive program that covers 10 units of material, including 02 The Human Physical and Psychological Issues "The Driver", 04 Signs, Signals, & Road Markings, 07 Rules of the Road and Safe Driving Practices: Urban and Rural Driving, and 10 Alcohol and Drugs. This program is DMV approved and will fulfill the 30 hours required by the California DMV. You can take this course at your convenience, making it easy for busy schedules.

Licensing Requirements

To obtain a minor's provisional license, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Prove that you have finished Classroom driver education (DMV form DL 400B)
• Prove that you have finished Online driver education (DMV form DL 400C)
• Prove that you have completed the Behind-The-Wheel Training (DMV form 400D)
• Have had an instruction permit for at least 6 months
• Provide a parent's signature on your instruction permit stating you have completed all the driving practice outlined in the Parent-Teen Training Aide
• Complete 50 hours of supervised driving practice (10 hours must be completed at night)
• Your parents must certify to this training
• Pass the behind-the-wheel driving test
