Premier Gymnastics Training in Belmont, CA
San Mateo Gymnastics has been dedicated to gymnastics training since 1977, founded by Margaret Morrison. Originally established in San Mateo, CA, we relocated to a larger facility in Belmont, CA in 1987 to better serve our growing community. Our state-of-the-art facility features Olympic equipment, in-ground foam pits, trampolines, and TumbleTrak to support comprehensive training. Our instructors attend annual Regional Congress training to maintain USA Gymnastics standards, ensuring up-to-date techniques and safety protocols. We offer recreational classes for children aged 2 to 18, including Munchkins, Girls, Boys, Acrobatic, Teens, and Tumbling programs. For advanced athletes, we provide competitive programs from USA Gymnastics Level 3 through Elite, with opportunities to compete nationally and internationally.

Safety is our priority, with specialized equipment and a team of experienced coaches focused on skill development and injury prevention. We emphasize structured, year-round progressive training, with evaluations guiding class transitions to maximize learning consistency. Parents are required to adhere to strict pickup times and avoid classroom communication to maintain focus and safety. Our policies are designed to foster a secure, productive environment where students can achieve their full potential through gymnastics.
