Our journey began over 30 years ago, when our founder, Tom, left his hometown in Delaware to pursue a new adventure in Gallup, New Mexico. With over 12 years of experience, Tom honed his skills as a painter and graphic design artist before eventually founding Lucky Stripes in Albuquerque in 1992.
Our History
Our story is one of perseverance and a passion for our craft. Tom's journey took him from Delaware to Gallup, where he worked at Gurley Motor Company for 12 years. In 1992, Tom founded Lucky Stripes in Albuquerque, where he could showcase his talents as a painter and graphic design artist. In 1999, Levi Valdez joined the team, followed by Angie Hamblin in 2000 and Gretchen Garcia in 2003.
