Hello and welcome! I am Sarah, the founder and lead hair and makeup artist at Finishing Touch. With over ten years of experience, I specialize in weddings, special occasions, and editorials. My work has been featured in numerous magazine features across Vermont and popular blogs such as Style Me Pretty. My number one goal is to make you look and feel your best while providing an environment that suits you and your bridal party. I am committed to keeping your day relaxed, easy, and fun.

Hair Services

At Finishing Touch, we offer a range of hair services, including dry styling for updos and down dos. Our styles are soft, romantic, sleek, and trendy, tailored to your preference. As a dry stylist, we use hot tools such as curling irons and straightening irons to achieve gorgeous hairstyles. We do not offer blow-drying services, but we are happy to put in any human hair, clip-in extensions that you purchase.

Makeup Services

Our enhanced beauty approach to makeup application ensures that you look and feel like yourself, only better. Our goal is to bring out your natural beauty, making you feel confident and radiant. We use a range of high-quality makeup brands, including Urban Decay, Nars, Cinema Secrets, Mac, Dermalogica, and the Ordinary. We do not offer airbrush makeup.

Lessons

We offer lessons to help you learn how to apply your makeup or to help you change up your look. Our lessons are tailored to your needs, and we provide guidance and tips to help you feel confident in your makeup application skills.

Photo Shoots

Our hair and makeup services are available for professional headshots, TV appearances, and wedding vendor editorial shoots. We have worked with numerous photographers and vendors in Vermont and are available for travel to New York and New Hampshire.
