ZeroZero39 Pizzeria

Zero Zero 39 Pizzeria is a culinary haven that serves as a slice of Rome in the heart of California. Founded by Carlotta and Francesco Zaza, this pizzeria has been bringing the authentic taste of Italy to the shores of Surf City, Huntington Beach, since its inception in December 2014. Our commitment to quality and authenticity has led to the opening of a new location in Anaheim Packing District, with a new pop-up in Costa Mesa soon to follow.

Our Story

The Zaza family hails from Rome, Italy, and has a deep passion for their hometown's culinary traditions. They brought with them to Southern California their favorite recipes for pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads, pastries, and desserts. Using only the freshest ingredients and the best doppio zero flour, the Zazas have been able to share their love for Roman-style pizza with the locals, who have quickly fallen in love with it.

Roman pizza, made with doppio flour, is a medium-thin crust pizza with simple ingredients such as olive oil, water, yeast, salt, and a touch of sugar. The pizza is sold by the slice (pizza al taglio) and baked in large rectangular trays. The 00 flour used in our pizzas is the finest grade of flour milled in Italy, with a lower gluten content than most flours, making for the perfect pizza dough.

Our Locations

Our Huntington Beach location, situated at 221 Main St. suite D, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, is open from 10 am to 10 pm Sunday through Thursday and from 10 am to 11:59 pm Friday and Saturday. You can order online for pickup or delivery through Uber Eats, DoorDash, or GrubHub.

Our Anaheim Packing District location, located at 440 Anaheim Blvd, space #107, Anaheim, CA 92805, is open from 11 am to 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and from 11 am to 11 pm Friday and Saturday. You can also order online for pickup or delivery through Uber Eats, DoorDash, or GrubHub.
