Our Story

Here at Wolfe Family Pharmacy, we understand that healthcare is deeply personal. That's why we've built our pharmacy on the foundation of personalized care, treating each patient as a valued member of our family. For nearly seven years, we've served the Campton community with dedication and a genuine desire to improve the well-being of those we serve. Recently, we welcomed Dave Ruth, our new pharmacist-in-charge, who brings years of experience and a passionate commitment to the pharmacy profession.

Dave's journey began nearly twenty years ago with a technician job at a pharmacy in his hometown. It was there that he discovered his calling, finding fulfillment in helping people navigate the complexities of healthcare. His passion led him to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2007, and later, he built upon his pharmacy knowledge with a degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2003. Today, Dave, along with his wife Taylor and their two young boys (with another on the way!), calls Clark County home. But Camptonholds a special place in their hearts as a community that has embraced them wholeheartedly.

Beyond his work at Wolfe Family Pharmacy, Dave dedicates his time to Faith Pharmacy, a charitable pharmacy in downtown Lexington, where he also serves on the board of directors. This testament to his commitment to serving others perfectly reflects the core values that drive our entire pharmacy team.
