Mountain Spirit Acupuncture is an alternative medicine practice specializing in Japanese acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, and intuitive energy work. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care that helps patients find balance in both body and mind. Our founder, Brian C. Mears, is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the State of Colorado, with a deep commitment to his work, his family, and his patients. His specializations include pain management, physical imbalances, stress and tension, emotional imbalances, women's health, and energetic imbalances.

About Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote healing. At Mountain Spirit Acupuncture, we primarily use the gentle and effective Japanese style of acupuncture, which focuses on pulse balancing to help return the body to a healthy state of equilibrium.

About the Needles

Our acupuncture needles are sterile, single-use, and hair-thin. The needles are inserted just below the skin's surface, and patients rarely experience any discomfort. In fact, many patients find acupuncture treatments to be deeply relaxing.

Meet Brian C. Mears

Brian C. Mears, MSOM, is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with a deep commitment to his work and his patients. He studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, and graduated with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) in 2007. Since then, he has completed extensive additional training in Japanese acupuncture, global balancing acupuncture treatments, Chinese herbal diagnosis and prescribing, cranial sacral therapy, and reiki. His unique blend of training and experience enables him to specialize in pain management, emotional balancing, female health concerns, and building up a patient's inner strength.
